Are Witches Real?

 Are there witches today?

Yes, I do believe there are some around who are decendents of "witches", but how many are studying the proper use of witchcraft?

Most people that I have talked to that call themselves "witches" haven't the foggiest idea of what it takes to be a "witch". They are also unaware that it is a lifestyle, not just a name to fool with while at meetings.

I have gotten several comments on the subject and I do appricate every one of them, I have seen from the responses that I have touched several nerves, I don't mean to start a debate on the subject, but only open peoples eyes to what it may take to be a "witch".

I am spending a lot of my own personal time getting information on this subject so that I don't misguide any readers, I have so far spent over 1,000 hours researching and talking to "witches", so that I may put my truthful oppions in this report. I have even been to some of the meetings and listened to spakers and fakers.

Please do continue to send your comments to me, as this also helps me in my research.

I realize that people will say a resounding yes or no to the questions below, but as everyone knows there is no real yes or no answers unless you take the time and effort needed to study/look into the Wiccan belives.

A few of the comments I have seen have asked if I ever read the "witches rede" and yes I have there are as many of these as there are people that call themselves "witches".

 Are there witches today?

As far as how they defined it in the 1800's, "anyone that casts a spell and uses chemicals, other then what was prescribed by a person that was considered a Doctor or an alchemist, were considered an outlaw, and branded a witch or warlock. By that statement, we could all be witches or warlocks. Now come on, haven't you ever used a "family remedy" to heal anything? But as far as the witch that can "fly on a broomstick"? Not hardly is all I can say. As far as people that use homeopathic cures, can they be called witches or warlocks? Yes, and no, it all depends which way you look at them. If you see them as healers, then the answer is, no; if you see them as doing something that doesn't help or kills someone, them, no, their criminals; but if you see them as people that do "magical" things with what they do, then I would say, a resounding yes. Now I haven't really seen many in the last part of the above statement, have you?

 I'll start

I will start this with several questions:

1) Are there people today that are witches?

2) Where there ever real witches?

3) Are the people that call themselves witches just trying to scare another person?

 4) Are there black, gray, and white witches?

5) Can you be a witch and believe in God?

6) Where the people that where considered warlocks or witches realy Alchenists?

Whitches are supposed to have super-natural powers, and be able to do certain things that others cannot do, but can they?

Lets look at some of the things they are said to be able to do.

 1) Be able to read your mind ---- I say maybe if they have what is known as E.S.P. , must the others are going by what you have said around them, not reading your thoughts.

2) Be able to cast a spell on you --- I'm sure that there are those that think they can, but as for me, I belive that if you totally believe that someone can cast a spell on you and it will work I believe that anything can happen if you truly believe it will happen, it will anyways.

I should state here "I am not talking about "Voodoo" That's a whole different subject, for you get into religion and I don' t want to do that.
